Thanks, Tom.

I've got to talk to some people. Sorry for not getting back to you early, I've been working a lot lately.

I suppose that's a good question since we have been having Linuxcruegettogethers since May. What makes a LUG official? I don't know if we're 'official.' Things really started coming together after a recent meeting at Chester's...
In one single meeting people just got motivated to do stuff.
There is a Linuxcrue.org web site. Matt Illingworth and Jeremy Mann worked together to get the site concept and logistics taken care of. Jeremy put together the mailing list.
The Linuxcrue people care about this new club and are having lots of fun and care what goes on. They have an open forum in the Linuxcrue mailing list. I encourage open dialogue, and we are very informal.
I have my own Linuxcrue web site... I like to think we have a web ring. I mention some URLs of Linuxcrue members at
http://danielv.home.texas.net/
We just had our first meeting at the San Antonio Technology Center last night, and that went very well. Had a good turnout of the Linuxcrue regulars. We had connectivity and a big screen to display to. Afterwards we went out for burgers. I put up notes at my web site (see above).
thanks,
Daniel
