PIC with C, PicBasic (see http://www.parallax.com/), or Assembler (see
http://www.atmel.com/products/product_selector.asp).. depending on if you
prefer PICs or microcontrollers.

I've only researched the various PICs and Microcontrollers... I'm not a guru
on the topic. Ask Mat Grooms.. I thought he had done some playing with them.
Also.. if you're starting to get into PICs or Microcontrollers, you should
probably hit a Borders and pick up the latest issue of Nuts and Volts.
Grooms? You have any recommendations?
