Well... we are cheating!  Our 1.X server is still going to run on one 
machine while we "upgrade" to 2.X on different hardware... that way, if 
there are any problems along the way we simply tell the DNS server to 
refer back to the 1.X server.  Since we end up with a 2.X server it is 
still, technically, an update!
