Hello everyone,
As an aside, I saw this cute temperature-controlled soldering station
at Altex for $19.99. It's cheaply made, but that's a bargain.
And if you don't know, Atex Electronics is going out of business
(offering 10% off) and I'm considering putting together and selling
some kits of assorted electronic parts for people who want to tinker
with electronics. I also have books of circuits for hobbyists, and
can make copies of any if you're interested.
It has to happen fast, since Atex goes out of business on Friday.
What I want from you is a general idea of your interest level in it,
couched in dollar terms. I'm thinking it should come to no more than
$50-100 to have a kit with all the stuff you'll really need for the
first several projects.
I am of course going to compare the costs with mail-order like
Digi-Key and Mouser, just to make sure that buying locally is worth
it.
