I remember buying some SIMMs that he had made from memory chips. I
couldn't believe it, he was explaining that they were just overpriced
and he etched his own PCBs in an oven or something to that effect.
Reminds me of my allergist who used to give away oral corticosteroids
in little paper envelopes because the pharmacy price for them was
ridiculously high.
