[XCSSA] Roadrunner line spikes?

Guys and gals, I'm curious if anybody else has had a line spike from
their cable modem. Tonight everything was fine up until about 30
minutes ago. I went to check email from my kitchen using my laptop and
noticed my AP wasn't connecting. So I run into my office and check the
cable modem and WRT54G. The WRT54G was completely dead. No power light
nothing. I also noticed that the cable modem was offline as well. So I
reset my APC, the cable modem came back up but not the router. I even
tried a spare power supply to the router. Nothing, no lights or
anything.

I'm wondering if TWC had a line spike, or something, that could have
caused my router to die in such fashion.
