BTW folks.. Travis is referring to "normally closed" home security/intrusion 
switches here.

Travis.. I am shocked that you're even asking this!  Using wireless for you 
security opens yourself up to an RF DoS that will make your place totally 
intrusion hackable.

Second... the problem with a wireless solution is that your security is now 
going to be tied to your ability to monitor/replace batteries as needed (or 
be dependant upon AC power which can be shut off).  Solar is an option... as 
long as the thieves don't find out about it an DoS your sunlight/charge path.

Third, if you want to extend power.. you should move from a NC config to a NO 
config (for obvious reasons).

If you can work around (or come to grips) with the issues above, then I'll 
help you with the RF/comm side of the equation.
