I used to.. but it's gotten a lot better. They (RH) weren't innovating
anything there for a long time and fell behind (2000-2002). And even now I
guess they're just putting their "Stuff" on other people's systems (e.g.
up2date-->yum).

RPM using apt/yum is pretty nice tho. Don't you think?
Much of the functionality in apt is never fully documented or used by the
package builders. Did Debian ever begin making full (universal) use of file
level DM5/SHA1 in all of their packages? That was what aggravated me last
time I used apt on Debian. The builders were inconsistent in the use of apt
in a standard way. Kinda turned me off of Debian for a while. Anyone care
to shre their latest experiences with this specific issue on Debian?
W/RPM, I particularly like the standardized and built in MD5s (or SHA1s I
guess now), the packager signature feature, and ability to use whatever
(non-RH) repository you like.
Hmm.. maybe we need a presentation on package management system...
Anyone in XCSSA want to take this on for October? :)
