InstallFest

Since 1994 the CIS department, at San Antonio College, has conducted a 
Linux InstallFest at the beginning of every semester.  The InstallFest 
for the Fall 2007 semester is scheduled for September 8th.  We will 
assist anyone that shows up, but we highly appreciate everyone making 
appointments.  More information will be available on the SAC CIS

OpenSourceFest

Since 1996 the CIS department, at San Antonio College, in cooperation 
with SATLUG (http://www.satlug.org) and XCSSA (http://www.xcssa.org), 
has conducted an OpenSourceFest every year.  Over 200 people normally 
attend this event.  Last year's attendance was low due to a change of 
location--this year, the event will be back in the Nail Technical 
Center.  The dates for the 2007 OpenSourceFest are November 6th through 
10th.  The website for this event will be posted at
