BTW.. If anyone wants to participate in the head-to-head network game of
scorched3D, My current install version is the latest, v41.1. Some distros
come with a version slightly older version me thinks (i.e. 40.x). To play
together.. we need to be on the same (approx) release. I will try to have
the latest tarball and RPM versions on hand for folks who need them. For
Windows.OSX folks.. you'll have to DL/install your OS version from the URL
below.
BTW.. to install it for your distro, just do this:
# yum install scorched3d
or
# aptget install scorched3d
or go here and grab the tar-ball install:
http://www.scorched3d.co.uk/downloads.php
See you there!
Tweeks
p.s. you might want to bring headphones so we don't all hear different audio
all night...

Is there going to be another LAN party? I'm interested in going.

Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. When is the next lan party? i have final exams at sac next week until Wednesday. I could go if it is after that. What other games are played besides scorched3d? I have Doom 3 and Quake 4 in Linux. So does Travis M. I've also got some open source free games such as Urban Terror, World of Padman, Assault Cube, Sauerbraten, Frozen Bubble, and many others. I have some wintendo games. Some run fine under Wine and Cedega.
