COMPUTER PROFESSIONALS HEAR THE IMPACT
OF THE 2007 TEXAS LEGISLATURE ON SMALL BUSINESS

Computer professionals are being urged to attend a meeting on Wednesday, 
July 18th to learn about the impact of the 2007 Texas Legislature on 
their business.

Will Newton, State Director, and Lance Lively, Legislative Director, of 
the National Federation of Business/Texas, will address local business 
owners’ concerns and report on the major impact of the new gross 
receipts-based business tax and the state’s growing spending measures.

The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the Cantina Room at Chris 
Madrid’s Nachos and Burgers, 1900 Blanco Road. There will ample time for 
questions, and attendees are eligible to win door prizes such as an 
Apple iPod Nano from MacTLC; Chris Mardrid’s gift t-shirt and Chris 
Madrid’s gift lunch certificate.
