It seems that every iteration of Visio is more and more proprietary.
What do you all use (if anything) is lieu of Visio? I've tried Dia but is
just hasn't grown over the years ans seems to have stagnated. Right now I
just use Open Office's SVG drawing apps for my diagrams, charts and network
diagrams. Yeah.. I COULD run visio in Wine or Xen/Windows, but it just makes
me feel dirty.
I've just recently seen Inkscape (and installed it via yum).. and while it
does SVG (scalable vector graphics)... it doesn't seem to be targeted
(functionally) at things like flowcharts and network diagrams.
Anything that any of you on the list recommend?
