I assume that you are talking about solid state storage as a replacement for
a HDD?  A couple of things... first, realize that you don't want to write to
flash memory and possibly other solid state memories very much, since they =
have
a limited number of write cycles... so you'll want to make sure you log rem=
otely
or don't have any log files at all.  Where did you get the card reader?  I =
was
interested in having some solid-state drives for high-reliability systems (=
e.g.
a firewall/router box) and heard you could get things that emulated IDE dri=
ves
but couldn't locate them easily.

FreeNAS, IIRC.
