Huh? I haven't used an X10 in like 20 years, when the family was
using them. And I didn't particularly care about them then, either.

If you're "doing much better", then why are you throwing away 2 or 3
dead bulbs a year? Over at least six years, with two houses (mine and
my mom's), I think I've had two dead bulbs _total_. And that's with
the "cheap home depot brand". Doing much better in what way?
