I don't want to start that war on this list as seen on SATLUG.. please..

I'll leave people up to their own preferences..

However.. that being said:
* When at work.. I tend to top-post to managers and others with short
attention spans.. as well as more common (less techno-savvy) office workers.
* When posting a simple one liner answer (to geek-types).. I tend to bottom
post (but ONLY after trimming all the top-crust cruft off. Making people
wade through 5 pages of crap to read my reply is just ridiculous).
* When I carry on a multi-part reply (as I have with Charles on this list), I
tend to do "middle posting" or what I call "in-line replies"... that is,
reply inline to the body of the sender's message, relying on the mail
client's quote text feature so that each of my points address the correct
context. It just makes the most sense I guess.

Having been raised on the Net (in various forms), I never really thought about
it. But inline replies seem to make the most sense to me.

That being said.. I won't ding you for top posting.. only for being
obnoxious. ;)
