Being one of that era, I don't really think the Falcon could be 
classified as a "Gas-Guzzler."  These were not large cars in the first 
place.  And mostly came with a straight-six engine of around 230 cubic 
inch displacement.  The Falcon, Rambler American, and Dodge Dart were 
the closest things to "Economy Cars" the United States made at the time, 
even if they did get only slightly better millage than a small V-8.  And 
for all the post-boom bambinos out there, there were no cars (Well, none 
I can remember) being produced with a 4 cylinder or V-6 by American auto 
makers.  If you wanted a four-banger you had to buy foreign.  Peace, Dennis
