[XCSSA] Amiga Aminet booms, but Fish ...

Aminet, the biggest repository for free Amiga software (open source,  
etc.) since 1992, boasts more uploads in 2006 than in any previous  
year (even 1992).

They don't much like people downloading the whole 32G repository.   
They note that Aminet has been around for 15 years and has sufficient  
resources for many more.  They say if you are worried about something  
disappearing soon, go download Google instead.  This WWW thing is an  
upstart which might be gone any day now.

Yes, people all over are still using Amigas.

Unfortunately, though, the pioneering free Amiga software compiler  
Fred Fish (who compiled 1000 different "Fred Fish" disks of free  
software during the 1980's) passed away in April.

Fred was also a key developer on the GNU Debugger and worked for
