Job Purpose Summary
As part of a growing team, the technical support engineer provides
remote and on-site support, training, implementation, management and
consulting to hundreds of the very finest end users across multiple
clients and various platforms.

Job Description
The OnSupport Team manages and supports the client's entire IT
infrastructure with transparency, clarity and consistency. Most of
OnSupport's client interaction happens at the support team, which
makes this role the most important role in the company, and also the
most fun. The OnSupport Team, along with the Systems Administration
Team, the Implementation Team and the Account Manager, delivers
consulting, implementation, management, training and support for
firewalls, network devices, servers, workstations, operating systems,
software and peripherals (soup to nuts) in the metro Austin area.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
•provide over the phone and onsite IT support services
•setup and optimize Windows and Linux based servers, networks and desktops
•troubleshoot issues as reported by client or alerts from monitoring system
•develop and maintain a professional working relationship with clients
•maintain and develop skill set through training and certification
•other support-related duties as assigned by the employer.

Competencies and Requirements
•excellent client services skills (a people person with the technical answers)
•exceptional technical , troubleshooting skills and experience
•proficiency with Windows and Linux Server technologies
•proficiency in Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SQL Server
•familiarity with wide range of software and peripherals
•solid understanding of networking, security, DNS terminology,
concepts, and best practices
•3+ years relevant experience
•dedication to building, following and improving goal-focused processes.
•Microsoft, Linux, Cisco and other professional certifications are a plus.
•Mac support experience is a plus.
