Robert.. Are you going into the tape or tuner input?  I hope that you're not 
going into the phono input.. this is a -20dB input for a turntable that would 
be greatly distorted if you tried to drive it with a line level input.

But.. if you ARE going into the phono input (because it's the only input you 
have left), then you can use a voltage divider to attenuate the XBox's line 
level 20dB down to the phono level.
