[XCSSA] Testing LAMP server

Does anyone have a good idea of some tools to test a LAMP server? Here is what I
have found or heard of so far:
1. Seige - tests Apache
2. nmap - tests firewall
3. Nessus - app for overall security testing

I know there are several security distros that have all these tools already
built in, but I can't put my finger on one right now.

Any other ideas? This will be testing a business server in an isolated/direct
connect network (only the server and a host to run the tests). I found this
article that lists quite a few more but I cannot realistically install all of
these one at a time since I'm behind a pretty tight proxy at work.
