[XCSSA] Using Xbox Live without broadband

Stupid question:

Are you using a crossover cable between the MAC and the xbox360? Are there
any link lights or anything to give indication of a good link?
IIRC, the xboxes love to complain about not being able to negotiate a DHCP
lease when the real reason could be anything from a mouse farted in the
Xbox's direction to interplanetary interference to the more common issue of
network issues.

As an option, you could install a traffic analyzer (ethereal/tcpdump come to
mind) to see if the mac is hearing the DHCP broadcast request from the Xbox.

Good Luck!
