[XCSSA] Using Xbox Live without broadband

Thanks for the useful information. Based on some of the stuff I read through the link provided in one of the earlier answers there appears to be a flaw inside Internet Sharing that prevents most devices (not just game consoles) from hooking up through DHCP.

There appears to be a simple workaround that involves "getting under the hood" (i.e. Terminal) and doing a couple of simple changes. I'll try that tomorrow. BTW, the workaround is simpler under Leopard which I just upgraded to not too long ago. If this doesn't work then I will try to acquire a switch and see what happens.

BTW, my X360 is hooked up to the Mac using the Ethernet cable that came with the console. In addition, I haven't sat down to see if I can get my newly acquired Xbox 360 HD-DVD add-on to work on the Mac.
