We need a slogan. XCSSA.ORG (w or w/o definition) and the tux/BSD
characters is nice, but it doesn't convey our true course. We aren't
*just* another user's group.

I propose the following:

Making toasters run (BSD/Linux) since (year of founding).
Voiding warranties since (year of founding).
Using hardware not as directed since (year of founding).
Because a warranty sticker is viewed to us as a personal challenge.
We're like the classy car guys, only with computers and pizza.
It's not a computer unless you soldered it yourself.
Real hackers use screwdrivers and a sledge hammer.
Why? Because it's there, and it has a processor.
Pissing off Netpliance since iOpeners hit the market.
Exceeding the manufacturer's functionality since (year of founding)
I found a router. Let's take it apart!
My linksys kicked your linksys's butt in a cage fight last night.
Proof that you can squeeze a penguin into the smallest of places.
BSD: Because not all demons are evil, although many are resident.
Because even toasters like demons and penguins.
My atari does more than just games.
may the Guru bless you and not crash your system.
I got a new toy! Now where's my tools?

That's all I have for now.
