No.. It IS a spectrum analyzer (of sorts).  I have the older one that uses a 
raw bluetooth radio chip, jacked up to scan the entire 2.4GHz spectrum and 
display several forms of spectrogram.  A color waterfall display, and ASCII 
(console), and can display a spectral, topographic and planar view of the 
spectrum (IIRC).  It can display microwave and phone interference, and much
